She spent most of her free time helping all of the animals she loved so much. She passed away on New Year’s Eve 2021, just weeks before her 100th birthday.
This year, on what would have been her 101st birthday, fans from all over the world paid tribute to the icon. It proved what an incredible impact she had on so many people. Many shared photos of Betty from her youth to her more recent golden years.
