A Dirty Dancing sequel is in the works and Jennifer Grey is set to reprise her role as Baby. Fortunately for fans of Patrick Swayze, they will not be replacing his character with a new actor. Jennifer recently sat down to discuss the film and was asked about her age. Jennifer, now 60 years old, said that she believes that age is meaningless and doesn’t care what people might think of her these days.
She said, “I really don’t give too much weight to chronological age, even though the world wants to tell you it means something. I know a million people who are very young who behave like they’re ancient. [I] know my grandmother, who was 93 when she died, was dancing and making art and walking and living independently. I think that it’s all about how you live, not how long you live.”

While working on the sequel, Jennifer is also going through a big life change: a divorce. She announced this year that she split from her husband Clark Gregg. They were married since 2001 and have one daughter together. Luckily, she revealed that she will be keeping all of the money she made from working on the original Dirty Dancing film.
In addition, she will be an executive producer on the sequel. It is in the works with Lionsgate. Unfortunately for fans, the plot and potential premiere date are still under wraps. Are you looking forward to seeing Jennifer reprise her role as Baby in a new film?
