Captain Tom Moore has been hospitalized with COVID-19. You may remember us introducing you to Tom a few months ago when he raised millions for the UK National Health Service last year by doing laps with his walker. Sadly, the 100-year-old WWII veteran is now in the hospital battling coronavirus. His daughter Hannah Ingram-Moore posted a statement online.
“I want to update everybody that today (Sunday 31st January) my father was admitted to the hospital,” she writes. “Over the last few weeks he was being treated for pneumonia and last week tested positive for COVID-19.”

“We understand that everyone will be wishing him well,” she adds. “We are of course focusing on my father and will update you when we are able to.”
If you know someone who is vulnerable or shielding today, take a walk and drop off a little something on their doorstep, or even just talk – at a distance of course #WalkWithTom #WalkandTalk #TomorrowWillBeAGoodDay pic.twitter.com/5xM1wWlDzB
